Hallöchen,

Enough news worth to spread word about have been collected over the last months. Apart from many minor updates of our virtual residence, the complete Pandamonium-Album is now ready for download - after realizing how many complications and expenses appeard sending the CDs throughout the world, we found that a better way to let you take part in our works. Of course you can still order CDs from us if printing, cutting and glueing the cover images is too much work for you or your internet connection is to slow to download all fourteen songs.

The other important news is the next BsB Project: We started on planning a Blackseed Boys video clip and although we are almost done recording the soundtrack, the completion is not in sight yet (the set is supposed to be a warm summer night, wich is more than impobable to occur before June '03 up here in the cold north of Germany). However, it should end up being a clip with a length of about ten minutes of a song you don't know yet. Well, you'll probably know the original, but you'll never guess what we changed it into! Just this much: We covered a song from a well known metalband and it does not sound like Duck FunOral....

We'll tell you more later, so until then, carpe diem et noctem (seize everything)!

Hi friends of the Blackseed Boys,

We are more than proud to finally pronounce that the recordings and production of the first BsB CD are done!!! It is called:

Pandamonium - The Principle of Evil Made Ca$h

and can be ordered at a newly opended section of our official homepage where you can find additional info and some tracks to prelisten, too. Talking about the hompage: We extendet it for some nice features (transcriptions, interviews,...), which we hereby encourage you to explore. And we professionalized the Newsletter.

So enjoy the beautiful wonders of spring (and our CD of course),

Hell-o BsB community!

Some of you might already know: another grain of the black seed has been thrown onto the nutritious ground of mp3.com and is just waiting for you chicks and cocks to be picked up ;-)

Furthermore the design of our first CD is almost done. It's gonna be a mp3.com D.A.M. CD containig all 12 tracks and a surprising artwork...

Our homepage www.blackseedboys.de is about to be completed. Then it will also offer a translated version in our mother tongue, German.

You'll hear/read from us

Sunny Greetings,

Sir-prise! We worked harder in the last few weeks again. And lo, our creativity flourished well. We put up an official Homepage (www.blackseedboys.de) with pictures, old newsletters, rare stuff and... just check it out. We're still working on some parts, so if you have any suggestions, fear not to tell us.

Furthermore we've started to derange another pop song. Guitars, most of the drums and bass are done, vocals and key's are still missing. Should take us a few more weeks. As for which one, we Don't Tell You yet, as always.

Have a nice summer and "hail the serpentine's gift",

28.5.2001 - Newsletter #10 (in spring even the Black Seeds sprout)

Greetings,

We are glad to inform you that a new Blackseed Boys opus is completed. Sorry for the delay, but we had to fight tons of problems concerning the new recording device / software (LINE 6 Pod 2.0, Guillemot ISIS Maxi Studio, Logic Audio, for those of you interested). Hopefully you'll hear the difference. The song is based upon one of the first Game Boy Classics, but could be interesting for the non-Game-Boys / -Girls among you, for its power, atmosphere, variety and quality is definitely gonna kick you fuckin' ass! Okay, enough of the showing off ;o)

Currently we're working on the design of a CD that we were planning to sell as D.A.M. CD over Mp3.com, but those capitalist assholes are changing the conditions every other day. We'd love to give it away for free, but Mp3.com sets a minimum price, which increases now and then :o(

But be sure that if we find an appropriate distributor, we'll tell you right away. Oh, and there is one little thing to mention: We designed a Blackseed Boys Logo, which is shown on the Mp3.com site above the band pic. We wonder who of you freaks can guess all the bandnames we've ripped a letter off ?!

So for now, enjoy the summer,

The Bs Bees

P.S.: By the way, we created a german Mp3 account, too (www.mp3.de/home/BlackseedBoys). Unfortunately they didn't allow the coversongs they could identify, but nevertheless, its another way to sow the Black Seed!

Seid gegrüßt,

It's done! The new Blackseed Boys song has appeard on the mp3.com webpage, and it is called.... Ah, You'll download it anyway, so why should we tell you now?...;-)

By the way, the SHATTERGRAVES page is also growing. Right now it has three songs, but soon the whole Demo (a total of seven deadly songs) will be uploaded. Macht's gut (und nicht zu laut),

The Blackseed Boys

P.S.: Grummel GriesGarm ..eeeh.. gram just bought a new guitar effect thingy (Line 6 Pod 2.0), so maybe the next output will sound a little different.

Hails out there,

Sorry, you haven't heard from us in quite a while. We both went on vacation in the summer and now we're pretty busy working. So we unfortunately can't meet as often as we used to when we went to school. But still:

Two new songs are being produced at the moment. One more crime from the old Nintendo Game Boy shit, and one pop piece of crap (we didn't decide about the titles yet, so we can't name them right now, too bad for you, ha ha ha). One should be done soon, the other is gonna take us a few more weeks (or should I say weekends?).

And there is some more news. After several requests we put up Grummel's former band SHATTERGRAVES on Mp3.com. Old stuff, but if you like melodic Death Metal, "[...] you mothafuckaz might wanna check this fuckin' out [...]"! (you'll find a link on the BsB page)

Furthermore Grummel plays in another band since about two weeks (under the pseudonym "Horus"). It's not too complex, but if you like Tiamat (Wildhoney) or The Gathering, you might like this, too. He didn't play on the recordings that are up, but still, this just had to be mentioned. The band is called "XANDRIA" and you can find it either on www.mp3.com/xandria or on www.mp3.de/home/xandria.

Well, that's that for now, we hope to be able to keep you folks informed better in the future. Rock on, and don't forget to check out Cradle's new CD!!!!

Hey ho,

We're Fuckin' Back In Da House. While listening to our old songs we realized that the Sliced Girls song had a crappy sound (the drums were way to loud, the guitar samples in a 8 Bit quality, the mixing for hell, ...). So we DE(I)CIDEed to improve it. You'll not find many differences in it, yet we just wanted to tell you that the version on our page may differ to the one you (hopefully) downloaded soundwise.

You also might have realized, that we put up a link on our "Artists we like" section. The Project DNS is a fellow from our class, for whom we did a Black Metal / Hardcore version of one of his (pretty poor) rap songs. He is hopefully going to upload it within the next week, but we will inform you when it's done.

As for new coversongs, we have not decided what to do next yet. We thought about some Michael Jackson shit, just because he's that famous. Later,

Thanx for interest again,

Hails,

We're glad to inform you about our latest victim being uploading just now. This one's about Britney's fears, so make sure to check it out (should appear within this week).

Furthermore the announced suprise song (our longest with more than 6 minutes playing time) will hopefully be done next week, yet that's the last we planned so far. So if you have any suggestions of what to annihilate next, don't hesitate telling us.

Until then, enjoy your lives,

Be greeted mortals,

Finally we took the opportunity to put images to each of our songs. We don't know how long it'll take Mp3.com to put 'em up, but we uploaded them today. Not that big of a thing, just funny little pigs... eh, pics ;-) Of course with blood, sex, gore 'n all you ever wanted!!! Oh, and in case you didn't notice, our Samba de Janeiro remix is up, so get it while you're still alive!

write ya,

14.4.2000 - Newsletter #1

Hey out there,

if we haven't answered your letters lately, we're sorry, but I just got a new computer and my modem wouldn't work. Now we're back online again, and since some of you were asking the same questions, we decided to wirte a newsletter now and then to keep everyone showing interest in us by mailing via Mp3.com knowing what's up with the Blackseed Boys. So this is No.1:

As you see, I have my own e-mail address now. My dad's does still work, but from now on this is the official BsB-address. A lot of you were asking wether we were gonna bring out a demo(n)-tape, a CD or anything like that. Well, probably we will never chose any commercial media for our songs; since they are fun producing for us and hopefully also fun for you to listen to they are so to say "freeware" and if you give them a laugh or even a smile or grin that should do as price. The official site is the one at Mp3.com, so when we have any new songs, they're gonna be there first (which means all we have done is up there right now). But feel free to burn your own CDs and spread them around, only do us the favour and do not sell them for the reason just mentioned.

We also find it appropiate to tell you what stuff we're workin' on at the moment, since we didn't upload any new songs for quite a long time. So, the next song will be a creepy keyboard interlude based on Bellini's Samba de Janeiro (still remember it?), which will probably appear within the next two weeks. After that we have a little suprise, about which nothing is to be said (wouldn't be a suprise then, would it? Ha ha ha!). For the next full-length output we stabbed Britney with her own spears one more time :o)

So, that's about it for now, ciao

G.G. & G.P.

P.S.: If you don't like to get these kinds of mail, just tell us and we'll erase your name from the list.
